Managed IT, business continuity and AI for dental and allied health practices that don't stop

The IT, AI and business-continuity partner that already knows your practice software. For multi-site dental practices, GP and specialist clinics, physio, chiro and allied health rooms across Greater Sydney — built around your appointment book, your patient data, and the AI guardrails a generic IT provider doesn't think about.

Why generic IT support fails clinical practices

A typical IT contractor treats your practice-management system like ordinary office software — a folder of files on a server somewhere. It isn't. CorePractice, Dentaleye, Sidexis, Nookal and the rest sit on top of live SQL databases. If your backup is just copying the files while the database is running, the restore will be corrupt. You'll find out at 7:45am on a Monday with a full appointment book and no system.

We've spent years inside dental and allied health practices, so we know where the dragons are: imaging sensors that drop off the network, x-ray DICOM that needs a quiet path to the imaging server, integrations between Tyro and the practice system that quietly stop working after a Windows update. We solve the right problems because we already understand the shape of them.

What you get

Built for practice principals, not IT managers

Practice-software fluency

CorePractice, Dentaleye, Sidexis, Nookal, Best Practice, Genie and the others your industry actually runs. We're hands-on with these systems — not learning on your time when something breaks.

Database-aware backups

SQL-quiesced backups for clinical systems, off-site and tested. A restore actually brings the practice back up — not a database your system refuses to open.

Patient-data compliance

MFA, EDR, hardened email, encrypted devices and the Essential Eight controls regulators and insurers expect — built into the monthly managed service, not a separate audit-day scramble.

Multi-site networking

Connect your locations so every chair, room and front desk feels like one practice. Centralised authentication, shared imaging, consistent printer fleet, no per-site IT chaos.

Maintenance around the appointment book

Updates, reboots, patching and migrations scheduled around your hours — not pushed at 11am with patients in chairs. We work the way your practice works.

A real local technician

One named contact who knows your practice, your software and your people. No call-centre roulette. We answer when you call.

The compliance picture, in plain English

Australian healthcare practices sit on patient data the regulator considers high-risk. Breaches carry real penalties under the Privacy Act, and that's before the reputational damage of a notifiable data breach. Most generic IT providers haven't thought about this. We have.

Our managed plans build the Essential Eight controls — multi-factor authentication, application allow-listing, patch discipline, restricted administrative privileges, configured Microsoft Office macros, user application hardening, daily backups and regular operating-system patching — into the day-to-day service. Your monthly fee covers them. You're not paying extra at audit time. You're not finding out at 7:45am on a Monday that the backup hasn't worked in six weeks.

Who this is for

Sized for owner-led practices

Multi-site dental groups (the spearhead of our book), GP and specialist clinics, physio, chiro and allied health rooms across the 20- to 100-staff sweet spot. If you're a principal dentist, practice owner or practice manager wearing the IT hat alongside everything else — that's the role we replace.

FAQs

Common questions from practice principals

Do you work with our practice-management software?

Almost certainly. We're hands-on with CorePractice, Dentaleye, Sidexis, Nookal, Best Practice and Genie. If you're on something we haven't run before, we'll engage the vendor directly so we're working with their support, not against it.

What happens if our practice-management database fails?

Our backups are SQL-aware — the database is quiesced cleanly before each backup, off-site copies are tested monthly, and we have documented restore steps for each system. The recovery objective is hours, not days, and the database opens cleanly on the other side.

Are you really cheaper than hiring our own IT?

For a 20- to 60-person practice, yes — and not by a small margin. A full-time IT manager in Sydney is well over $100k once you include super, training and tools. Our flat-rate managed service typically lands at a fraction of that, with broader skills (security, cloud, networks, vendor management) and 24/7 monitoring built in.

How does this work for a multi-site practice?

One contract, one bill, one phone number. We standardise the setup across sites (same gear, same software baseline, same security controls), centralise identity in Microsoft 365, and stitch the sites together with site-to-site networking so it feels like one practice. New site? We pre-stage it and turn up.

Will you talk to our software vendors for us?

Yes — and we'll usually be the ones logging the ticket. Part of the reason owner-principals come to us is so they don't have to be the go-between when something between your practice system, imaging and Microsoft 365 isn't behaving.

What does it cost?

Per-user/per-device, flat monthly. We'll scope it after a short call — typically same-day quote. No long contracts, no surprise invoices and no per-hour billing for things that should already be covered.
